Can I Ask a Favor?
Back when I was a kid, the most common Wedding favor was a small piece of fruit cake wrapped in a doily.
I love fruit cake, that would still win me over, however, the possibilities are endless when it comes to Wedding favors, now a days. I have been researching and there are some very, very clever ideas for home made favors, EDIBLE, home made favors. Loving this concept!
Cookies!
I’ve seen favors ranging from heart shaped cookies with white fondant icing with the words “I DO” or “Love” written on them; candy apples; decorative jars filled with all sorts of things; honey, coffee beans, candy, preserves. There are loads of fabulous ideas out there. The best part of this is that you are not only saving money, doing it yourself, but, that personal touch is always appreciated by guests. I know I’ve mentioned this before, but, this would be a great opportunity to have a girl’s night and have your wedding party over to help you make your favors…unless you’re OCD, like me, in which case, you will just make them yourself. Lol
Google it!
If you haven’t already done so, Google your little hearts out. There are so many DIY Wedding ideas out there that your favors are sure to be a hit! Stay tuned for your next blog…I have a very special guest lined up to help with some Wedding Do’s and Don’t’s!
